Hey my name is Paul, or Fl00rMaster, and I draw a bunch of crap. Sometimes even good crap. I largely draw original content for the game I'm developing, but I also will do occasional fan art of RWBY or whatever videogame I'm currently into. I love any and all feedback on my work so I can grow as a creator. If you think something is terrible, do let me know. With that established, I hope you all have a good one.

I'm also working on a Computer Science Major, so college prevents any sort of regularly scheduled posts.

-No I don't do requests. Sorry, but my free time is limited and I have my own personal projects.

-I may be willing to do Art Trading if you have a gallery showing capability in what I'd want. Sorry, but if I don't like your art style, that's not a fair trade. This is also variable on my availability.

-Any of my fan art is free to be colored as long as you credit my line art. Do send it to me. I love seeing the results.

-I draw on paper with entirely mechanical pencils for better or worse. I use .7 lead for sketching and shading and I use .5 for finer details like eyes and hair.

-I draw digitally with a Wacom Bamboo pad. I recommend the tool, but I warn you it takes a lot of practice.

-As far as programming I work in C# and Java (Although C# preferred). I'm currently building my games in Unity 5.

-My game has been greatly influenced by Terraria, Legend of Zelda, Shovel Knight, Hollow Knight and Skyrim if that gives you insight.

-I've been drawing as a hobby for over 15 years, however I've only been SERIOUSLY drawing for about 4. In that time, I've set a quota of a drawing a week to keep up the practice.

-No I don't have fan oc's. I'm not applying my creative ideas to something already copyrighted.

My Personal Advice to Others Trying to Draw:

1. Practice. Practice More. Practice without even recognizing that you're practicing. You've just gotta do whatever it is you want to improve at. I know for a fact you've heard this before, and with good reason. Do it.

1. Most important things to figure out: Proportions and Perspective. Once you can tell something is a bit off, you'll stand a chance fixing it.

1. Secondary important things to figure out: Shading, Lighting, and Coloration. Adding these will make anything look faaar better.

1. Use massive amounts of detail to make something more epic, but try to keep things simple for cuteness.

1. Use reference pictures. Any stigma against using them are idiotically misguided. Don't blindfold yourself from looking at what your trying to draw.

1. Don't overthink the start. Just START the drawing. A blank page is intimidating, but once you get a few lines down, the final piece will become so much more clear.

1. Look for flaws. In both your own art, the art of terrible novices, and even the art of seemingly great artists, spot flaws and figure out how to overcome them. Without reflection, the same mistakes will cycle endlessly. Also obviously listen to and thank others when they point out a flaw in your work.

1. Nor I or you will ever be good enough for our own standards. You'll always feel you need to improve more. Use this as motivation, not discouragement. Perfection is impossible, but we can always get closer.
